Locations:

Jacksonville, FL, and Richmond, VA- Must be local to this area, no relocation assistance offered

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processes international purchase orders received from the central 
    purchasing department.
  • Manages the booking, shipping and entry process for all 
    international shipments.
  • Gathers, reviews, verifies, submits and files all documents 
    required to complete the transaction.
  • Reviews, verifies, codes, submits and files all freight invoices presented for payment.
  • Evaluates alternatives and selects best option to satisfy company 
    objectives.
  • Monitors the supply chain for exceptions and disruptions. Advises 
    management when those events occur. Takes appropriate action 
    to minimize the disruption and its associated costs.
  • Ensures that all transactions and business practices comply with 
    relevant government regulations and corporate policies and 
    procedures.
  • Reports on the activity and performance of the international 
    supply chain and the company's supply chain partners.

 

Shift Details: Mon-Fri 8am-5m with flexibility

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • HS Diploma/GED
  • 2+ years inventory or logistics experience
  • 1+ years’ experience with analytics
  • Intermediate experience with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

 

Critical Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with creating and editing written reports
  • Transportation industry experience
  • Experience with a scheduling software application
  • EDI experience
  • Office 365 experience
  • Experience with C3 SaaS System
  • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Attention to detail

 

Education:

  • 4-year degree in related field preferred
