Job Description

As a Sales Associate on the Innovation Economy International Banking team, you are responsible for supporting International Banking Specialists in their efforts to bring our international platform to US-based companies in the fast-growing and dynamic Technology, Disruptive Commerce, Life Sciences and Healthcare Services (TDC, LS, HCS) industry groups within Middle Market Banking & Specialized Industries (MMBSI).


 


The International team partners closely with the domestic TDC, LS & HCS Banking and Treasury teams as well as our in-country bankers to provide Treasury, Credit, Trade and FX solutions to US-HQ clients and prospects that are operating internationally. International Banking Specialists help technology and life science companies, ranging from early stage to sophisticated public companies, navigate the geo-political, regulatory and banking landscape in each of the 30+ countries that the Commercial Bank operates in. 


 


This is a fast-paced, client facing role that requires a candidate that is extremely well organized and able to manage internal and client relationships across time zones. The International Banking Specialists on the team have portfolios ranging from 50 to over 200 clients each.


 


Job responsibilities 


Staying up to date on market trends across eCommerce, Fintech, marketplaces and innovative healthcare developments


Disciplined pipeline management


Liaise with clients, Banking, Treasury, Trade, FX and Product Partners to develop client solutions and propel portfolio growth


Monitor portfolio profitability and post-close revenue ramp


Uncover and scope new revenue streams and ensure the highest standards of client obsession are met


 





  • 2+ years of treasury or banking experience

  • Demonstrates the ability to understand International Treasury Solutions products, pricing philosophy, and billing process and procedures

  • Strong ability to take ownership and ambition to be an individual contributor salesperson overtime

  • Superior verbal and written communication skills with the ability to mobilize internal networks and resources

  • Time management, organizational and planning skills with proven ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel and Word) and superior analytical and quantitative skills
