Your Impact 



Your focus will be on supporting Axon’s international growth, with a particular focus on managing import/export trade compliance within the Australia and Asia regions.


What You'll Do



  • Supporting Axon’s Trade activities in-region, including;

    • Customs Clearance

    • Customs Brokering

    • Product Trade classifications and certificates

    • Logistics Coordination



  • Coordination with company stakeholders on implementation of relevant regional trade controls including;

    • Supply Chain

    • Sales

    • Research & Development

    • Manufacturing



  • Support of Axon’s Export Administration Regulation (EAR) and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)

    • Including licensing for manufacturing, R&D, and sales hardware exports

    • Analysis of new systems and technology for relevant export controls

    • General Trade recordkeeping



  • Engagement with regional Governmental Regulatory bodies for relevant product classifications, certifications, and trade reporting

  • Liaise with Axon’s global compliance teams to execute support work in-region, including

    • Product certification and testing

    • Recordkeeping

    • Remote product meetings

    • Regional Test Product inventory management





What You Bring




    • Experience working with government regulatory bodies

    • Bachelor’s Degree; and

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills

    • Conversational skills in at least one relevant regional language (Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Malay, or Mandarin) as well as English

    • Minimum of 5 years Global Logistics experience (air, sea, and road carriers and/or freight forwarders)

    • Experience working with weapons manufacturers or industries;

    • Experience working with product certification programs (e.g. RoHs, CE, FCC, REACH)
