Overview






HarperCollins Publishers is currently seeking an intern to join our International Sales team this Summer.  International Sales is responsible for sales of HarperCollins titles (Adult and Children’s, Print and Digital) in all markets outside of the US.  It’s a great opportunity to work with booksellers around the world and our Affiliate offices in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, and India.   









Responsibilities






  • Works with Sales Managers to:
    • Develop customized pitches for accounts
    • Curate title lists for seasonal presentations
  • Reviews sales data and creates title/category/customer/channel performance reports. 
  • Performs ad hoc sales tasks within Microsoft Office programs as needed.
  • Attends various internal/external meetings and circulate notes








Qualifications






  • Candidates who are available to work in a full-time capacity in 2025 or 2026 are eligible for this internship; open to rising seniors, recent graduates, master’s students, or entry level candidates with up to two years of work experience. 
  • Candidates must be available to work in our NYC office from Monday – Thursday for a total of 28 hours per week, from June 2 – August 7, 2025. Compensation for this internship is $18 per hour.

  • Ideal candidates are either currently enrolled in or have recently graduated from an undergraduate or master’s program. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. 
  • Candidates must demonstrate effective task prioritization skills. 
  • A passion for books is highly valued! 
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite is .
