Job Function
The intern will play a crucial role as a member of the Global Marketing & Communications team to help further advance The Riverside Company, its fund families, and portfolio companies through internal and external facing initiatives. Learning about private equity and its role in the financial industry, the intern will grow professionally through mentorship and guidance from experienced marketing professionals. Potential tasks will vary on the skills and interests of the individual, and could include but are not limited to:
Marketing Communications
Assist in the development and execution of global marketing campaigns.
Support the creation of marketing materials, including advertisements, brochures, newsletters, and email campaigns.
Help track and report on the performance of advertising campaigns.
Conduct market research and analyze trends to inform marketing strategies.
Social Media Content Creation
Assist in creating content for social media platforms, particularly company pages on LinkedIn and Instagram.
Help design engaging graphics and visuals for social media posts.
Monitor social media metrics and provide insights to improve engagement.
Graphic & Visual Design
Support the creation of visually appealing graphics for marketing materials, social media, and the company website.
Work on layout and design projects using tools like Adobe Creative Suite.
Video Production
Assist in the production of internal and public-facing videos, including asset collection, scripting, filming, and assembly.
Collect, archive and manage video assets to ensure high-quality output.
Event or Conference Management
Help plan and coordinate company events, webinars, and conferences.
Assist with event logistics, including venue setup, registration, and attendee communication.
Support post-event activities, such as surveys and follow-up communications.

Requirements / Skills
Current undergraduate students pursuing a degree in communications, marketing, graphic design, or a related field
High level of creativity, strong written and verbal communications skills
Professional demeanor, and customer service orientation
Intellectual curiosity, sense of humor, and excellent work ethic
Strong time management, multi-tasking ability, and dependability
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Strong consideration will be given to candidates with experience creating content for LinkedIn/Instagram, knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and similar tools, and/or basic knowledge of video production and editing
Start and end dates are negotiable between June 2025 and August 2025. We expect a 10-week commitment from students.
Pay rate: $20/hr dependent upon experience
Location: Cleveland, OH (hybrid)
