Our Consumer & Community Banking division serves our Chase customers through a range of financial services, including personal banking, credit cards, mortgages, auto financing, investment advice, small business loans and payment processing. The Global Banking Platform (GBP) organization is building a new, cloud-based, common core ledger for the firm. This innovative, 24/7 ledger will deliver the highest levels of resiliency, efficiency, and security in the ever evolving and challenging financial market. The GBP platform provides a suite of core capabilities that can be used for financial products across the firm to deliver products faster and more autonomously.

Job Description


As a key member of the Business Management Office, the Associate will drive high team performance by prioritizing and executing on key technology team initiatives. This high-profile position is instrumental in assisting/advising senior management and coordinating strategic and tactical objectives.


The main aim of a Business Manager is to:



  • Implement new strategy and strategic initiatives to optimize the productivity of the Global Banking Platform organization 

  • Lead employee engagement initiatives to drive an inclusive and professional culture

  • Partner with Product to understand the implications of GBP implementations to the broader organization

  • Support senior leaders in timely execution of presentations and communications to fulfill firmwide strategies

  • Leverage internal organizational data to identify, escalate and mitigate business risks which could impair or improve our ability to do business 

  • Collaborate with Finance and Real Estate to ensure seating capacity and workspace requests, including technological needs, are met

  • Drive immediate employee impact through creation and maintenance of onboarding material and on-going training and certification opportunities


Qualifications



  • Previous tech knowledge and/or prior Business Management or COO experience

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with ability to analyze large data sets and present conclusions concisely

  • Able to both define and deliver to conclusion a strategic agenda across multiple groups

  • Highly motivated self-starter with excellent time management/prioritization skills

  • Present well to senior and global business heads

  • Able to forge strong internal relationships across a broad range of functions

  • Self-motivated, tenacious and able to work with high degree of independence

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Excellent project management and organizational skills

  • Attention to detail with logical thought process
