We are seeking a motivated Contracts & Trade Compliance Intern to join our team for the summer of 2025. This internship will provide you with valuable insights into contract management processes and trade compliance standards.
Essential Functions:
- Support Contracts Team and assist in the review of contractual documentation to support contract close-out activities.
- Assist in review of historical contract data for development of preferred position library.
- Research regulatory guidance to integrate regulations into business processes to maximize outcomes.
- Research customs compliance export procedures, policies, and documentation necessary for compliant operation of the business.
- Review shipping documents for classifications, export/import restrictions, applicable authorizations, opportunity to reduce applicable import tariffs, etc.
- Update Trade Compliance Management System (EASE) with Export Commodity Classification Numbers (ECCNs).
- Develop and/or update Contracts and Trade Compliance Sharepoint Sites with meaningful resources to further subject-matter reach within company.
- Analyze, assess and provide mitigation tactics for business and contractual risk.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations, corporate policies and best practices.
