DGM International Sales – SE Asia & Australasia

Purpose:

The purpose of this position is to lead the Regional Sale Managers in the SE Asia & Australasia Region and provide guidance and coaching that result in sales related KPIs to be consistently achieved.

Ideally, the position would be based in Eastern Australia, close to a major airport.

Must become familiar with Hensley’s Safety and Environmental Policies

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains the field sales organization and sales volume for SE Asia & Australasia Region.  Ensures budgeted sales volumes are met for the region.
  • Submits recommendations to the Sales corporate management and executive staff as they relate to the sales organization; product lines; distribution channels; pricing and special programs; sales objectives and budgets by territory and product; sales force compensation; and Sales Department Budgets and expenses.
  • Establishes and executes all sales programs and specific objectives for each territory within their region.
  • Assists Regional Sales Managers with sales distribution issues as needed.  Assists product managers with customer coordination/collaboration, new product development, and quality/deliver issues as required.
  • Informs to top management personnel of significant sales developments
  • Makes recommendations for new products or improvement modifications to existing products.
  • Develops effective lines of communication between Regional Sales Managers regarding all aspects of sales and services.
  • Provides Regional Sales Managers motivation, training, and career development guidance/support through coaching, in all aspects of sales and services.
  • Travels in the field with Regional Sales Managers, calling on present and prospective customers as needed.
  • Plans and conducts sales meetings to educate, train, and motivate sales organization in conjunction with sales corporate management.
  • Establishes and approves travel expenses for each Regional Sales Manager while operating within the company budgets.
  • Coordinates and attends sales conventions and trade shows as needed.
  • Must know and comply with the Komatsu Worldwide Code of Business Conduct, KAC Code of Conduct, Hensley Environmental Policies, Hensley Safety Policies, and Hensley Quality Policies.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelors in related field or Trade Qualification with post graduate elements (Management, Marketing, and Finance).
  • Experience in the mining and construction industries, as well as with GET.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) & computer skills.
  • Strong user proficiency of MS Office programs.
  • Excellent presentation development (primarily via PowerPoint) and delivery skills.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in industry sales.
  • Minimum of 5 years management experience.
