WHY PATIENTS NEED YOU

TUKYSA (tucatinib) is a best in class, highly selective HER2-targeted TKI therapy providing improved survival and tolerability for patients with HER2+ MBC & mCRC. TUKYSA was initially approved in 2020 on the strength of the HER2CLIMB study for 2L+ patients with HER2+ MBC. It is also approved for 2L+ HER2+ mCRC. TUKYSA is now approved in fifty countries and Pfizer has recently secured the global rights from Merck. As a focus brand, TUKYSA is expected to achieve global peak revenues of $1B+ and will be an important contributor to Pfizer’s oncology portfolio.

WHAT YOU WILL ACHIEVE

The TUKYSA Global Marketing Launch & HCP Lead will be responsible for leading H2C growth/launch planning activities (market dependent) in collaboration with regional leads. They will lead global strategy alignment, brand planning, development of global marketing materials for efficient localization and will ensure strategic and executional alignment across cross-functional teams. They will facilitate the global commercial team forums and serve as strategic, and collaboration point with the BCNet program and platform. As Tukysa transitions to the CoLab model in 1H2025, they will lead the transition and integration with CoLab for the brand and manage the AOR relationship for the brand. As Pfizer assumes responsibility for TUKYSA across Asia, LATAM & MEA (previous Merck territories), this individual will be responsible for supporting the launches across many of these markets. This individual will lead the Tukysa high-risk adjuvant strategy for the CompassHER2 RD strategy lead, beginning in Q3 2025.

The ideal candidate will have strong marketing experience and a demonstrable ability to build and execute strategies and initiatives that maximize value. As such, the candidate should demonstrate a proven track record of working and leading in a team-based environment, with multiple country, marketing, and cross-functional partners.  The candidate will need to understand the market dynamics and key customers and patients through deep and robust insights synthesis. The candidate will need to ensure deliverables are met and strategies are aligned to customer insights, to ensure an ideal launch platform for the key countries across IDM and EM.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide leadership to regional and country marketing organizations, collaborating on launch planning and key brand activities – to ensure alignment on Global strategy, brand planning, brand positioning and messaging for local affiliate execution.
  • Lead ideation and development of HCP resources, programs, and activities, in the Global model with key country-level colleagues and global functions. Scope to include HCP branded and unbranded tactics, global congresses, opinion leader and external stakeholder plan in partnership with Medical and stakeholder relations colleagues.
  • Build and maintain the appropriate external network for Pfizer; Identify and develop key opinion leaders (KOL) and seek medical expert insights by leading and conducting advisory boards and other KOL interactions.
  • Work with local markets to ensure implementation that is consistent while allowing for localization.
  • Lead integrated global brand planning for TUKYSA, engaging a broad range of global and regional cross-functional partners. Present brand plan to senior management.
  • Develop global tactical plan to drive brand growth in alignment with business goals.
  • Lead AOR transition from current AOR to CoLab model.
  • Lead all AOR interactions, including project plan review & management of AOR OPEX. Ensure appropriate strategic direction is communicated to and executed by AOR and partner agencies.
  • Lead the development of a refresh of HCP creative campaign for TUKYSA to differentiate the brand in line with established strategic direction and evolving competitive dynamics.
  • Manage Global dashboard, analyze launch performance and reporting metrics to adjust strategies and execute marketing levers to continually grow the business.
  • Partner with other areas of Breast franchise to strengthen our Collective Advantage.
  • Lead High risk adjuvant Tukysa launch strategy for CompassHER2 RD
  • Conduct all responsibilities in accordance with Company policies, with a strong adherence to our Values including compliance.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred. 
  • 8-10 years of pharmaceutical industry experience in marketing, strategy, or new product launch
  • Oncology marketing experience preferred.
  • Proven record of identifying customer needs, extracting key insights, and translating these into meaningful value propositions, and tactics
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across different functions, multiple countries, and colleagues/groups and to lead by influence to effectively developand implement strategies with internal/external stakeholders.
  • Interacts with others in a way that gains commitment to action, ensures clarity, and creates common goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage AORs and other agencies to produce communications that impact business performance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Work Location Assignment: Hybrid

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $161,600.00 to $269,400.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
