Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for the Domestic and International sales function to include sales, expenses, promotions, accounting, and overall profitability to successfully attain corporate objectives. Responsible to define the parameters for the short-term and long-term strategies, as well as the development and execution of the plans detailing the objectives for all divisions.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS


  • Possesses integral knowledge of the company’s profit model in order to craft new initiatives, partner with other departments of the company, grow the business, improve procedures, and restructure

  • Oversees the outcome of profits and productivity including volume, price, waste, gross profit, and expenses

  • Provides market intelligence to define strategies of products, product lines and brands

  • Oversees the development of new sales areas, branches and zones including international countries

  • Responsible for the evaluation of manufacturers that maximizes consumers’ preferences and company profits

  • Assists with the negotiations and positive relationships with existing and new customers

  • Manages P&L forecasts including sales, expenses, pricing, etc.

  • Acts as the subject matter expert for the Food Service and International Sales areas to participate in business decisions with other departments

  • Hires, trains, supervises, and establishes schedules, work assignments, project plans, career development, performance goals and evaluations, alongside resolving disciplinary concerns, and/or termination of assigned personnel

  • Other duties as assigned


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS


  • Bachelor’s degree in related field required

  • 10 years of business management experience required

  • 5 years of supervisory experience

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Usual office environment with frequent sitting, walking, and standing, and occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and balancing. Frequent use of eye, hand, and finger coordination enabling the use of office machinery. Oral and auditory capacity enabling interpersonal communication as well as communication through automated devices such as the telephone.


 


COMPENSATION



  • Depending on geography, skills, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

  • This position is eligible for an incentive bonus, based on achievements of company targets and individual performance expectations
