Export Associate - English

Seeking a proactive and organized Export Associate to join our client's international team.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with the warehouse team, sales team, and export specialists to ensure seamless shipping operations and excellent customer service.

You’ll be involved in preparing export documentation, managing logistics processes, and coordinating shipments while fostering strong communication across departments.

This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a structured, hands-on environment and is eager to grow professionally in the field of export and logistics.

Key Responsibilities

  Daily Operations

  
  
  • Schedule and prioritize daily activities in collaboration with the warehouse and export team.
  
  
  • Handle special order and shipment requirements while ensuring compliance with all shipping instructions.
  
  
  • Prepare accurate export shipping documents for shipments inside and outside the EU, including HS codes and Incoterms compliance.
  
  
  • Notify freight forwarders and customers of upcoming shipments and oversee Track & Trace processes.

  Administration and Documentation

  
  
  • Maintain accurate export administration records for auditing purposes.
  
  
  • Verify any discrepancies in instructions and take appropriate corrective actions.
  
  
  • Share export knowledge with colleagues and internal departments to support operational excellence.
  
  


• 
  

  Communication and Coordination

  
  
  • Coordinate closely with the warehouse, sales, and export teams to align on shipping requirements and timelines.
  
  
  • Act as the point of contact for customers, delivering professional and customer-focused responses to inquiries.
  
  
  • Collaborate with freight forwarders to ensure efficient logistics and timely deliveries.

  • Maintain a tidy and efficient workspace alongside the warehouse team.
  
  
  • Participate in training opportunities to continuously upgrade your skills and expertise.
  
  
  • Work on-site five days a week for effective collaboration and communication.
  
  

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in export, logistics (in the NL)


• Strong knowledge of export documentation, HS codes, and Incoterms (mandatory)


• Fluent in English (C1 level).Dutch proficiency is a plus


• A collaborative mindset, able to coordinate with diverse teams.
