Responsibilities: Export Compliance Specialist (Senior) – Crystal City, VA Responsible to assist the Government in facilitating export related policy activities and support the F-35 Export Compliance Office including preparation and coordination of presentations for committee review, interacting with applicable interagency partners. Department of State for export licenses, and interpreting/maintaining export-related documentation. Duties will include:
- Maintaining knowledge of export compliance standards and regulations
- Manage activities with International Traffic in Arms regulations (ITAR) including licensing and process reviews
- Support briefing activities to update leadership and staff of current export compliance issues and status
Qualifications:
- Experience with flag-officer level briefings and senior-level interface
- Demonstrated knowledge of Low Observable / Counter-Low Observable (LO/CLO) LO/CLO aircraft programs and systems
- Master’s degree
- Or -
- Bachelor’s degree plus 4 years additional work experience related to import/export related functions
- 10 years’ experience performing duties related to import/export of Government logistics
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit/stand at a desk for long-periods and must be able to lift 20 pounds occasionally.
- Mental Requirements: Must be able to mutli-task and rapidly change priorities with limited notice.
