Just-Evotec is seeking an experienced Export Control Manager to oversee and ensure compliance with all U.S. export control laws and regulations for both Just-Evotec Biologics and Evotec Inc. This position will play a crucial role in managing and implementing export control procedures, with responsibility for ensuring that all export activities comply with relevant U.S. government regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industries, particularly in biologics or small molecule pharmaceuticals.
Ensure compliance with all U.S. export control laws and regulations, including but not limited to EAR, ITAR, OFAC regulations, and other relevant U.S. government controls.
Provide expert guidance and training to internal teams on export control compliance, including engineering, manufacturing, legal, and operations departments.
Liaise with Evotec’s internal stake holders as well as external stakeholders, including government agencies, freight forwarders, and legal counsel, to ensure smooth and compliant export operations.
Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of U.S. export control regulations, including EAR, ITAR, OFAC, and other relevant laws.
Based at Redmond, WA with visits to our Seattle, WA sites. Travel required approximately 40% depending on homesite location.
The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be $92,400 to $126,500; Base salary offered may vary depending on individual’s skills, experience and competitive market value.
