Export Sales Coordinator (Private Label Food Manufacturing)

The Export Sales Coordinator is the primary point of contact for our International Sales Division. This position will work closely with our customers, sales team and internal departments, ensuring accuracy and completeness of customer orders, inquiries, requests and related needs.
This is a highly visible and collaborative role will work internally with the sales team and other cross functional teams such as Operations, Logistics, Customer Service, Quality Assurance and Finance.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide quotes/pricing for new and existing export businesses.
- Coordinate new and existing customer documentation requests, including registration renewals, audit requests, insurance/business certificates, etc.
- Coordination with Operations on made to order products to meet demand.
- Coordinate customer specific export logistics documentation: production reports, certificate of Origin, certificate of Health, etc.
- Coordinate the label development process, working with sales manager, customer and internal label development team.
- Responding to direct customer inquiries for issues such as complaints, damages, order inquiries, inventory inquiries, shipping/logistics, and quality issues.
- Monitor Aging Products report (inventory) weekly and resolve issues.
- Prepare monthly international business unit and customer specific sales reports.
- Manage & Investigate deductions with sales, Finance, and other internal departments.
- Primary point of contact for the sales team and export customers, coordinating timely and accurate responses across a variety of issues and opportunities.
Education, Experience, and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in field of study related to position.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in Spanish preferred.
- 3-5 years’ experience with sales/coordination in the food manufacturing industry, with international / export experience and knowledge preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, including the ability to meet deadlines and focus on analytical and highly detailed information.
- Proven experience building strong cross functional relationships and communications with other sales-related functions.
- Demonstrated organization, multi-tasking, prioritization, and system skills needed for a fast-paced, agile business environment.
- Location: NW Ohio Region (Rockford, Ohio or Fremont Ohio)
