Scope of the Role: The Global Account Manager facilitates coordination and development of strategic customer accounts across the Spectrum Plastics portfolio. Strategic accounts are defined as those customers who represent substantial revenue, engagement across the global SPG network, and significant growth potential.
Measured Objectives:
- Develop and maintain a strategic map of the respective accounts
- Company overview, key product lines & strategy
- Develop a priority/strategic positioning of SPG that will result in a strategic supplier position
- Identify contacts and build a relationship with key contacts across technical, supply chain, and executive functions
- Communicate & sell our value-proposition
- Focus on high-value and best fit product lines
- Develop a pipeline in collaboration with the extended sales team to drive significant year over year growth
- Act in a cost-efficient manner
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish an internal team consistent of Engineering, Sales Managers, Quality, and Marketing to serve the Global Account
- Negotiate long-term agreements that are Win-Wins for both customer and SPG
- Prioritize and drive pipeline projects
- Provide regular updates to Executive team of revenue and margin progression, pipeline and its conversion, key milestones with the timeline, and scorecard
- Assure that Salesforce is maintained and updated
Reporting:
- The Global Account Manager reports directly to the VP of Sales and Business Development and shall collaborate with the respective segment VP(‘s) and Divisional Leaders.
