This is a great opportunity for Procurement and Supply Chain professionals who want to help grow and develop a Global Procurement Support function within Northland Control Systems.
DUTIES
- Manage daily procurement tasks including creating Purchase Orders.
- Maintain daily communications with vendors regarding open orders and maintain ERP by populating, tracking, and updating ETAs.
- Support Global Service team with quotes and procurement needs daily.
- Assist management and maintenance of Purchasing-US Inbox
- Support BP Maintenance in ERP System. Update each Vendor Card Information at least once per year.
- Perform reverse transactions (Sales Return & Goods Returns) as required.
- Proactively resolve issues with vendors and internal customers
- Able to perform job closeout functions as related to Procurement.
- Provide back-up assistance & coverage to buyers in all regions, globally.
- Part Entry on an as needed basis.
- Other duties as assigned.
COMPETENCIES
- At least 5 years of procurement experience
- Experience leading and mentoring teams a plus.
- Highly motivated, organized, and with great attention to detail.
- Proven Excel skills (complex formulas, VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros)
- Works well in a team environment as a member or leader.
- Self-starter
- SQL familiarity and basic skills are a plus.
- Familiarity with SAP Business One Required.
- Familiarity with NetSuite ERP is a big Plus.
- Familiarity with the security industry (access control & CCTV products) is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills (English - written and verbal) multi-lingual is a plus.
- Ability to sit in front of computer for prolonged periods of time.
