ABOUT THIS JOB:
The Global Supply Chain Intern with be responsible for creating a system compatible with Axomo and our partners for international purchasing. This individual will help build out catalogs, vet new products, monitor order statuses, etc. This role requires a basic understanding of how orders are placed and processed within our system and involves consistent manual data entry and exceptional attention to detail. This role's primary responsibility will be developing a system for international purchasing compatible with both Axomo and our partners which will require a foundational understanding of the current order placement and processing procedures. Additionally, this role will assist with catalog expansion, new product evaluation, and order status tracking as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process daily order data to provide international Partners with necessary information to purchase/process/fulfill. This will be via Excel/Google Sheets using Pivot Tables
- Strategize automation, via internal web development team to increase efficiencies equally to all International Partners.
- Manage and audit items on catalogs to add variety and quantity
- Monitor orders according to ship dates with tracking information and assuring status is current

BENEFITS AND COMPENSATION:
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Good understanding of excel functions and formatting, attention to detail, and general computer literacy. Ability to stay focused for long periods of time
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including functions and formatting
- Strong attention to detail and computer skills
- Ability to maintain focus for extended periods, time management
- Strong communication and project management skills
Must have proper documentation for employment in the United States High School diploma or equivalent preferred
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION FOR:
- Previous Purchasing, Accounting and/or Supply Chain experience
THIS POSITION REPORTS TO:
SCHEDULE:
- Monday-Friday, about 3-4 hours per day
TRAINING:
Training for this position will be completed by the department manager. Training will consist of education on key processes, preparation and staging requirements by customer, location of tools, supplies and materials. You will be trained on how to use the order interface, how to properly read orders and where to look for notes. Additional training will be completed as processes evolve or as required.
