Job Description
Job Roles:
Manage manufacturing vendor relationships, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of equipment and materials.
Develop key vendor relationships aligned with company goals for new product lines and product commercialization.
Maintain an elite network of multiple suppliers providing tubulars, accessories, inspection, and repair services, while actively participating in the procurement process.
Oversee the reporting of open orders, delivery estimates, and manufacturing metrics, including on-time deliveries, cost, lead times, and quality.
Identify and qualify additional third-party vendors as needed to ensure material availability for operational needs, with a focus on global vendor diversification and risk mitigation.
Play an active role in establishing inventory stock levels through vendor management, including vendor stocking for high-volume parts.
Scope of Job:
Provide global leadership across all supply chain functions, ensuring effective vendor management, equipment mobilization, and manufacturing partnerships that drive operational success.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred; 10+ years of experience in materials/supply chain, including 5+ years in a management role.
Strong experience managing manufacturing vendors, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, cost efficiencies, and timely deliveries.
Experience maintaining compliance with ISO 9001 and API Spec Q2.
Experience sourcing OCTG tubulars and downhole equipment is a plus.
Strong knowledge of the global supply chain network.
Financial acumen to drive cost reductions and optimize supply chain expenses.
Deep understanding of procurement and process flow management, including contract negotiations and supplier performance evaluations.
Ability to multitask and reprioritize workload in a dynamic environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Dynamics) and ERP systems.
Ability to travel internationally and overnight (<20%).
Strong interpersonal skills, interacting with others in a courteous, helpful, and professional manner.
