The Full Time Program - July 2025
The core of the Global Supply Chain Leadership Development Program (GSCLDP) is to gain knowledge of and expertise in the entire supply chain process - from manufacturing all the way to identifying suppliers. Whirlpool Procurement, Logistics, and Manufacturing teams use state-of-the-art technology and a customer-centric supply chain strategy to manage a global network and an unmatched trade partner order fulfillment process.
Your day-to-day
Complete three rotations in: Manufacturing (18 months), Supply Chain (12 months), and Procurement (12 months). Rotational assignments will be in areas such as:
Manufacturing Roles (1st rotation, 18 months):
- Continuous Improvement
- Materials Planning
- Material Flow
- Assembly & Operations Supervision (Leadership roles)
Logistics/Planning/Trade Customer Support Roles (12 month rotation):
- Product Fulfillment Team - Inventory Management, Product Demand Planning - Forecasting
- Transportation Team - Inbound/Outbound Logistics
- Global Logistics Team – Damage Prevention, Global Ocean Bids, Reverse Logistics
- Trade Customer Support Team – Customer Relations Supervision (Leadership role) & Continuous Improvement
Procurement Roles (12 month rotation):
- Direct Procurement Buyer for various goods (i.e. steel, resins, chemicals, stampings, plastics)
- Finished Product Sourcing Project Management
- Indirect Procurement Buyer
- Product Management for product launch
- Distressed Supplier Management
- Supplier Quality and Development
Minimum requirements
- Completion of Bachelor's degree by May 2025 with a minimum 2.8 cumulative GPA
- Majoring in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Transportation, Integrated Supply Management or Applied Engineering Sciences
- Must have indefinite US work authorization. Applicants who require visa sponsorship or work authorization now or in the future are not eligible for this program. For this position, Whirlpool Corporation will not sponsor visas for candidates.

Preferred skills and experiences
- Previous internship or co-op experience working in a similar environment or company of similar size/scope to Whirlpool; within supply chain, procurement or manufacturing
- Strong analytical skills, detail orientation and statistical applications knowledge
- Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities and deadlines
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with business partners
- Demonstrated strategic thinking, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate with teams to achieve extraordinary results
- An inspiring leader—brings thought leadership to every meeting to create positive outcomes
- Demonstrated personal accountability for results and high level of initiative
- Ability to align your work to company and/or function vision and strategy
- Understanding of Continuous Improvement tools & methodologies
- Finance skills are a plus

Program locations
The first rotation starts in manufacturing at one of our North American plant locations in Ohio, Iowa, Tennessee, Oklahoma, or Massachusetts. These sites produce a full line of appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ranges, ovens, dishwashers, and KitchenAid portables.
The final two rotations in supply chain and procurement take place at our North American headquarters in Southwest Michigan. Take advantage of pristine beaches, a thriving art scene, and lush countryside in our location along the coast of Lake Michigan.
