The Role


Block is looking for a resourceful, analytical, and detail-oriented Global Fulfillment & Logistics Lead to develop and scale our Hardware logistics, fulfillment and distribution operations that will distribute to 100+ countries. This is a senior, execution-oriented role central to the development and enhancement of impactful, highly-visible hardware products.


You Will



  • Manage a cross functional team owning the setup and management of Block’s logistics network. Spanning freight, warehousing, fulfillment, and trade compliance

  • Develop and implement a supply chain and logistics strategy that supports the global growth objectives for all of Block’s hardware products across the Square, Cashapp, and Proto brands.

  • Work with Product Marketing/Product Management counterparts to ensure the distribution strategy can meet GTM strategy needs, and to explore opportunities for product availability through distribution partnerships

  • Work with business systems, finance, accounting, tax and other partner teams to deliver tools, systems, and processes to ensure smooth product flow, leveraging existing infrastructure where appropriate for the product and developing new tools where needed

  • Develop supplier and distribution channel strategies and relationships that enable availability of Block’s hardware

  • Design and deploy business continuity plans that ensure we are insulated from a variety of risks

  • Collaborate with the business unit leads to address broader supply chain challenges in adjacent areas, including but not limited to planning, operations, and packaging


You Have



  • 10+ years of experience in logistics and operations work

  • Experience in both established businesses and building from scratch in smaller (preferably startup) environments
