Ensure products arrive to the correct locations timely, while certifying all safety regulations are met when moving between state/province/region/territory lines. Responsible for the accurate filing of Customer Profile entries.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage, monitor, and maintain records on required documents; and resolve all issues to obtain customs clearance
- Understand customer’s business, requirements, and rate structure; issue invoices for services rendered and accrue costs in system
- Review and update customer files
- Support internal customer metrics
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)
- 3 years’ Import/Export or Logistics experience; or combination of education and experience
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with internal and external customers
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to function in a fast paced, highly visible, and changing environment
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-task various and conflicting responsibilities
