Graystone Consulting, an investment consulting business of Morgan Stanley that provides investment advice to institutional clients representing approximately $500 billion in assets under advisement, is seeking an International Business Officer. This person will report to Morgan Stanley’s Head of Institutional Product Development and be responsible for supporting the growth and development of Graystone’s international business. This individual will work closely with Morgan Stanley’s International Wealth Management Team, Graystone’s management team, and financial consultants who focus on servicing international clients.
Role Responsibilities:
· Supporting new business development and marketing of Morgan Stanley’s capabilities to international clients and prospects; providing ongoing business support to consultants, including assistance with RFPs, finals presentations and client contracts;
· Identifying cross-sell opportunities and collaborating with other Morgan Stanley partners to deliver an integrated firm;
· Enhancing capabilities to support and grow the international business;
· Reporting results internally and maintaining compliance with all international rules, policies and procedures;
· Managing and overseeing the appropriate execution of customized terms;
· Leading additional projects related to Graystone business controls and procedures.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
· Series 7 and Series 24 registrations required
· Bachelors degree
· 5+ years of financial services experience with at least 2 years of international financial services experience
· Strong work ethic and detail orientation, with ability to handle a significant volume of customized work in a timely manner
· Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact effectively with Legal, Risk, Audit, and other support teams
· Strong business judgment and professionalism

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $110,000 and $185,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs
