International Sales Manager - Air and Ocean Freight

Job Description




This role is a player/coach leadership role. Responsibilities include prospecting and building new business opportunities while also managing a team of Sales Representatives. This role is with a leading Freight Forwarding company and they are looking for a strong Logistics Sales professional to make an impact and help them grow!



Responsibilities: 

  • Build relationships with new and existing clients 

  • Identify client Logistics needs and educate on service offerings that are beneficial

  • Manage client records and notes in the system

  • Communicate closely with internal and external teams

  • Manage a team of Sales Representatives

  • Assist with problem resolution and escalations as needed


Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in Freight Forwarding

  • 3+ years of International Freight Sales experience including Air, Ocean, Import, Export, Domestic, Customs, and/or Warehousing

  • Strong leadership skills

  • Expert at building a pipeline of new business, building relationships, negotiating, and maintaining excellent customer service

  • Cargowise experience is a plus, but not required
