Valtir, LLC is hiring a Sales Professional for our International Highway Systems business segment! 

We are searching for a qualified and results-oriented individual to provide outstanding customer service through sales channels of our business by interacting with established customers and by developing new prospects in person, and occasionally on the telephone.

In addition, this role will include the oversight of complimentary product lines, tracking of projects and inventory, overall business and product development - working closely with owner agencies (DOT, municipal, etc.) engineers / buyers, along with engineering and design firms regarding product specifications and new product acceptance.

What you'll do;

  • The Sales Professional will be instrumental in supporting the business plan through profitable revenue generation
  • The Sales Professional’s primary responsibility is to serve our customers timely through the sale of our Highway Systems products and coordinate these various accounts efficiently to grow the business through outstanding customer service, customer visits and sales calls. 
  • Telephone prospective customers and solicit business
  • Attend Regional conferences and seminars
  • Maintain contact with and act as a liaison to existing and potential new customers.
  • Work closely with Inside Sales and Customer Service to meet customer needs.
  • Remain in close communication with Service Team and Logistics to ensure deadlines are met
  • Work in harmony with internal support and operations to meet customer expectations.
  • Monitor sales inventory and track project trends and product cycles
  • Inform customers of supply and price trends and prepare quotations
  • Negotiate prices with customers, within established limits
  • Secure, review, process, and expedite orders
  • Write orders, keep records, maintain files, and create CRM reports on all phases of activities including sales recaps
  • Track orders through the system until timely delivery of products
  • Provide input regarding forecast figures
  • Work with the sales director to improve efficiency of product offering and sales effort.
  • Provide technical guidance to customers, project owners, and affiliates
  • Research supply contracts, projects and bidding opportunities
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Extensive travel is required
  • Location will be remote home office within the continental United States strategically located within a reasonable driving distance of a major airport.

 

What you'll need;

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3 years sales experience, strong planning, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
  • 3 years of experience in the construction industry with sales and customer service success, in either vertical, commercial, or highway/traffic safety
  • 3 years of experience working within the DOT highway industry is preferred.
  • Experience with the road agency plans/specifications a plus.
  • Ability to work on a flexible schedule, which may include extended work hours.
  • Proficient computer skills with extensive experience using Microsoft Office and CRM platform
  • Strong leadership, motivational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work on a team and independently
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record is required
