Job Summary:









The International Sales Specialist is responsible for assisting the Director of International with the management of the International Markets, with a primary focus on Capital Equipment. Responsibilities include daily sales activity management, distributor support, sales tools development, and analysis of sales leads. The International Sales Specialist will also be responsible for managing the transition from marketing/product management to the sales function. The sales function requires familiarity with excel to configure/quote packages to support sales needs and strategic negotiation. Additional responsibilities include distributor development and management, business development, and sales and marketing planning.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities



40%



Assist the Director of International with managing the distributor network worldwide, including business planning, quoting and configuration, managing the sales function, and the ordering process. Understand our customers’ needs in each market and offer recommendations to the organization to meet those needs. Help develop sales and marketing plans to assist distributors in their respective markets, including events and meetings.  



35%



Use established price/forecast tools to drive increases in revenue and profitability. Coordinates with the distributors to gather marketing knowledge including market share reports and loss to competition reports. Offer guidance to distributors and customers regarding the sales process, detecting any errors in the price model and contracts. Completing customer support reviews to build rapport and generate potential leads.

Support the International Team by participating in strategic initiatives, sales forecasting, data entry, and margin analysis. Assist in setting distributor budgets.



10%



Support the International Team and Distributors by attending shows and events; IAAPA, Bowl Expo, Sales Meetings, etc.



Qualifications

Minimum Position Qualifications:














Experience & Requirements




  • Minimum two years of bowling industry experience with broad business understanding.



  • Advanced in Excel, Word and PowerPoint

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead teams of independent people towards a common goal

  • Must be self-motivated and an outstanding communicator with the ability to listen to customers

  • Comprehensive understanding of the Capital business and product knowledge preferred. 

  • This position requires some international travel



Education Level



Bachelor’s degree in General Business, Marketing, or a related field
