As the International Sales Support Lead at McLane Global, you will be responsible for managing international sales assistants, providing customer support, and driving business growth.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Lead and manage sales support team.

  • Manage and monitor inbound shipments for export through McLane’s state-of-the-art ERP system.

  • Process sales and purchase orders.

  • Assist sales team in preparing international registration documentation.

  • Resolve discrepancies in receiving and shipping, and work with suppliers on damage and credit issues

  • Communicate with all stakeholders including sales team, warehouse and loading facilities, freight forwarders, vendors, USDA, State Department, customers

  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of export shipments.

  • Coordinate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales support.

  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints to ensure satisfaction.

  • Provide product information and support to international clients.

  • Track sales orders and keep customers updated on their status.

  • Prepare and present sales reports to management.

  • Work on sales analysis, presentations and PowerBI reports. 

  • Monitor accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely payments

  • Ensure compliance with export laws and regulations

  • Supervise sample procurement, packing and shipment via UPS/DHL.

  • Supervise and handle samples, documents for all trade shows and marketing activities.

  • Support the international sales team in any other tasks assigned.


POSITION REQUIREMENTS



  • Bachelor’s or associate degree in logistics, international studies, business, or a related field is preferred.

  • Three years of relevant work experience

  • Eager to learn with the ability to learn quick and retain information

  • Detail oriented

  • Strong computer skills including MS Excel and ERP like D365

  • Strong work ethic and desire to win and grow

  • Works well in a team environment


WORKING CONDITIONS



  • Keyboarding - (Up to 8 hours per day) Entering text or data into a computer by means of a keyboard. Devices include a traditional keyboard, 10 keypads, touch screen and others.  

  • Sitting/Standing - (Up to 8 hours per day) The ability to alternate between sitting and standing at a desk is present when a worker has the flexibility to choose between sitting or standing as needed when this need cannot be accommodated by scheduled breaks and/or lunch period.  

  • Communication Verbally - (Up to 8 hours per day) Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word to impart oral information to clients or the public and to convey detailed spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly.  

  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs., move and pack boxes.

  • Ability to walk to and interact with the warehouse on a regular basis

  • Additional physical efforts pertaining to the job
