SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:
Responsible for working with our international distributors, international representatives, manufacturing/production team and freight forwarders to ensure a timely shipment of all orders to domestic and international customers. This includes packing boxes per specifications including properly securing materials and packages for shipment. Receive, inspect and record shipments of raw material or products. You will be responsible for unloading packages and checking their contents to ensure they match the orders.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Maintain shipping report
• Filing of ITN#’s
• Process Import/Export documentation
• Manage and maintain export/import files and records in accordance with U.S. Government export/import regulations and company policies.
• Prepare packing list and commercial invoices
• Pack boxes per specifications including properly securing materials and packages for shipment
• Affix proper postage to each package in preparation for shipping
• Keep records of goods that have been shipped and received, preparing regular shipping and receiving reports for supervisors.
• Daily control of all international and domestic shipments – including data entry into E21
• Follow up on shipments, reporting any delivery exceptions to management and sales
• Match actual product to associated documentation
• Perform customer service duties as necessary, maintaining good relationships with shipping companies and clients who are receiving goods.
• Unloading packages and checking their contents to ensure they match the orders.
• Perform work safely and in accordance with company and customer standards and safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and update supplies as needed
• Attends Certified Training programs for International shipping regulations and requirements
• Cross train on other duties

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2-3 years Shipping/Receiving experience in an electronics and/or assembly environment
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Mathematical skills

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
• Full Time
• Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Overtime as required for business needs including evening and weekend hours
• Additional hours as required to support Annual Physical Inventory

• Little to no travel is required of this position
