POSITION SUMMARY:
The IT Procurement Specialist is responsible for managing and overseeing the procurement of technology-related products and services for the organization. This role involves evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that the organization’s IT needs are met efficiently and cost-effectively.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
1. High school diploma or equivalent education required
2. Associate’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology or a related field preferred
3. A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in IT procurement or a similar role preferred
4. Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or other relevant certifications preferred
5. A valid Driver’s License and daily access to an automobile required
