LOGISTICS COORDINATOR

 

BayoTech’s hydrogen generation systems produce local hydrogen close to the application. This saves customers money and reduces the carbon intensity associated with the legacy challenges of liquifying and transporting hydrogen. This allows BayoTech to serve a diverse set of end users, including traditional consumers in the industrial gas and chemicals industries, as well as those using hydrogen to power the fast-growing fuel cell segment.

JOB SUMMARY

 

The logistics coordinator will be responsible for scheduling hydrogen deliveries to customers, working with third-party sources if needed, ensuring contract compliance, verifying billing information, and reporting metrics to help optimize the BayoGaaS network.

 

CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Schedule equipment and molecule deliveries.

  • Ensure logistics/delivery schedules are met.

  • Ensure adherence to contract obligations for both supply and delivery.

  • Assist in the billing process from account setup to the accuracy of deliveries/invoicing.

  • Utilize system tools to optimize the supply chain and supply reliability.

  • Effectively handle challenging calls and emails from internal and external customers.

  • Work with customers to ensure data accuracy.

  • On-call if needed during nights, weekends, and holidays.

  • Solid work ethic, exceptional math skills, and an ability to multitask.

  • Follow escalation procedures as necessary.

  • Manage relationships with contract carriers – cost/KPIs.

  • Cross-functional collaboration between finance, operations, health/safety, and commercial teams.

  • Ability to quickly learn and assimilate new tasks and information.

  • Must be able to comprehend and follow detailed work while understanding how the outcomes affect customers and corporate strategies.

  • Self-motivated, problem solver with a high attention to detail.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to handle simultaneous telephone calls, instant messages, and computer tasks associated with hydrogen supply activities.

  • Teamwork – Interact with operations groups, teammates, and leadership teams to help make optimal decisions for sourcing and delivering hydrogen to the BayoGaaS network.

  • Must be able to work effectively in an open, team environment during stressful situations, seeking out opportunities to help others and to make the team successful.

  • Ability to build strong working relationships with teammates, internal customers, business partners, and service providers.

  • Strong computer skills including advanced Excel capabilities.

  • Proficiency with standard analytical and business software such as Microsoft Office.


QUALIFICATIONS


  • High School Diploma or GED with Supply Chain or Logistics experience required. A bachelor's degree in supply chain is preferred.

  • 1-3 years of experience.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills: phone, written, and in-person.

  • DOT experience/training preferred.

  • HAZMAT experience preferred.
