 Reports to:

The Logistics Coordinator reports to the Company’s Director of Operations

Job Summary:

We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator with strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset. This role is responsible for managing all production equipment, ensuring its maintenance, and overseeing its use. The Logistics Coordinator will also collaborate closely with the Event Management team to support the setup and dismantling of events and contribute to maintaining the overall office environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Production Equipment Management:

    • Manage the maintenance, inventory, and workflow of all production equipment.

    • Develop and implement a strategic inventory system for internal equipment use.

    • Conduct weekly inventory checks and ensure the timely maintenance of equipment.

  2. Office Maintenance:

    • Utilize basic construction knowledge to perform day-to-day office maintenance tasks, including minor repairs and installations.

    • Assist the Assistant Office Manager with daily maintenance tasks, such as garbage and recycling disposal.

  3. Event Support:

    • Coordinate the setup and dismantling of events, working closely with the Event Manager and Event Coordinator to ensure all needs are met.

    • Oversee the logistics of event-related tasks, including van scheduling, extra vehicle rentals, and the hiring of additional staff.

    • Implement and enforce safety standards during event setup and dismantling for both internal and external staff.

  4. Vehicle Management:

    • Oversee the use and maintenance of the company van, including scheduling and coordinating any necessary repairs or rentals of additional vehicles.

  5. Problem Solving:

    • Provide strategic and efficient solutions to issues that arise in day-to-day operations and during the event management process, particularly related to inventory management and equipment use.

Qualifications:

  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Effective presentation and negotiation abilities.

  • High degree of professionalism and the ability to prioritize tasks.

  • Proficient in technological platforms, with general knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

  • Basic construction knowledge for office maintenance tasks is a plus.
