SUMMARY:
Assists in the management of all aspects of exports, imports and transfers of technology, products, and/or services including the preparation of all required shipping documents.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Understands Department of Commerce and Department of State export license and agreement applications in accordance with government guidelines and internal standard work requirements to affect the desired licensing results
- Verifies export control classification (ECCN), jurisdiction, licensing end use and licensing requirements (if applicable) based upon the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and U.S. Customs Regulations (CBP)
- Prepares export documentation for eligible parts, systems, and services. Prepares shipping labels and maintains records of shipments both internally and externally. Uses shipping company’s online site to process shipping documents. Verifies information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
- Participates in audits and internal investigations
- Creates commercial invoices
- Assist with other duties as assigned

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee daily tasks/responsibilities of Trade Compliance Support Coordinator and Shipping Clerk.
