Reporting to the Sr. Director IT, Global Commercial & Enterprise Analytics, the Manager, IT – Global Sales and Marketing Support, will manage various Sales and Marketing applications, and drive the evolution, operational maintenance, and support of the IT applications. In addition, the candidate will develop and maintain application roadmaps and execute projects in support of our Global Commercial organization. This person will partner with our commercial business functions, (e.g. Commercial Operations, Marketing and Sales, and Patient Support) as Kiniksa continues to establish ARCALYST as the standard of care in recurrent pericarditis.
The candidate will have relevant experience delivering solutions to enable the effectiveness and productivity of teams operating in a rapidly changing Commercial landscape. This candidate must excel with vendor management and execute at an individual level. In addition, this candidate will lead numerous initiatives (e.g., new CRM functionality, enhance Patient Support processes, and update Web site).
This role is based in our Lexington office. Our office-based employees follow a hybrid schedule of 4 days in the office and 1 day remote.
Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
- Responsible for supporting Kiniksa’s Sales and Marketing applications, including Veeva CRM, Salesforce Health and Marketing Cloud, and Web platform Acquia and Drupal.
- Provide direction and guidance to current Managed Service Providers supporting our systems.
- Review current processes, gather requirements, understand gaps in existing and/or proposed solutions, and identify opportunities to leverage existing technology more effectively.
- Facilitate and lead business process and design sessions with the business and technical teams to identify functional and technical requirements.
- Work with leadership to determine risk mitigation strategies and document and communicate appropriately to proactively reduce the impact of scope creep.
- Oversee the development, establish test scripts, coordinate User Acceptance Testing, and implement various updates to the Commercial applications.
- Generate documentation to detail the customer solution (business and technical)
- Ensure source system changes are accurately reflected in Analytical reporting and data integration.
- Identify critical areas for end-user education and partner internally to develop and execute (e.g., iOS features, Veeva CRM, and Tableau).
- Work closely with IT colleagues to ensure end-user support processes and systems are effectively addressing the needs of the applicable user groups
- Ensure internal and vendor solutions are utilized (e.g., JIRA, Teams) to track requests, bugs, and issues and ensure the teams are prioritizing items
- Proactively identifies and communicates system changes and updates to affected parties in advance.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years’ IT experience driving improvements to sales, marketing, and / or call center systems
- Experience within the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry supporting Commercial & Patient Support organizations highly preferred.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, or a related field is required
- Strong familiarity with source systems (e.g., Veeva CRM, Salesforce Health Cloud) and how the data is stored.
- Experience with Master Data Management concepts and platforms (e.g., Veeva Network and Open Data).
- Experience with Tableau preferred.
- Experience with digital marketing data and Contact Center applications (Genesys preferred).
- Experience in managing external teams supporting Commercial and Web applications (Drupal).
- Excellent project management skills, including leading in an environment with multiple partners and vendors and contending priorities.
- Strong commitment to compliance and ethical standards
- Ability to travel up to 5%
