Job Description




Responsibilities:

  • Process and oversee Import shipments (Ocean and Air) from A to Z

  • Ensure timely delivery of cargo

  • Prepare and manage shipment documentation

  • Ensure compliance with U.S. Government regulatory agencies

  • Communicate effectively with internal and external teams


Requirements:

  • 3+ years of Ocean Import Operations experience within a Freight Forwarding company

  • Basic knowledge of INCO terms, HTS, and customs regulations

  • Air Import experience is a plus, but not required (cross-training will be provided)

  • High School Diploma

  • Cargowise software experience preferred

  • Must currently reside in IL and be willing and able to commute to office location near ORD airport suburbs daily
