Job Description
Operations and Supply Chain Analyst EMEA F/H  

As a member of the End-to-End Operations & Supply Chain EMEA Animal Nutrition/Pet Solutions team, you will report to the Director of Additives and Specialties Operations and also support the other portfolios in the region, in order to prepare monthly reports summarizing the progress of all projects, measures and actions identified during audits, as well as the implementation of End-to-End EMEA Management objectives, for all 20 industrial and Supply Chain sites.

Projects include, but are not limited to:
  • supply chain optimization projects (streamlining supply chain processes, reducing delivery times and improving inventory management) under the direction of the EMEA S&OP, Transportation, Inventory Management and Warehouse Managers, and in collaboration with the Operations teams, the Supply Chain Design, Planning, Warehousing and S&OP CoEs.
  • continuous improvement projects in collaboration with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Quality, Technology, Performance Excellence and Performance Management CoEs teams
  • safety and compliance projects, in collaboration with site HSE teams and the Safety, Environment and TPS COEs
  • new product/packaging launch projects, in collaboration with Operations, Supply Chain, Marketing and Sales departments and the Packaging CoE
  • preventive maintenance projects (to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime), in collaboration with Operations, the RCM, Technology, Performance Management and Performance Excellence CoEs
  • new works projects in collaboration with Operations, the Technology and Capex COEs, Finance and project managers
  • and all other type of projects (Human Resources, Quality, Lean Manufacturing, Environment, etc.)

Measurements correspond to all indicators used to monitor plant and supply chain activity in various fields: Environment, Safety, Quality, Productivity, Inventory, Sales Forecasts, Customer Satisfaction surveys, Human Resources, Unit Costs, etc. They are used to be presented as a summary at monthly meetings with the President of Animal Nutrition, President of the EMEA region, monthly meetings with the Director of End-to-End Operations and Supply Chain Animal Nutrition/Pet Solutions, VP of Operations Nutrition, etc.

Regular monitoring of the action plans drawn up during audits carried out at all sites is aimed at checking their implementation and remedying any discrepancies identified. These audits cover areas such as human safety, process safety (TPS), quality, environment, inventory management, etc. Action plans will be monitored and summarized in close collaboration with the relevant teams: Operations, HSE and the Safety, Quality, TPS and Environment CoEs.

You will carry out follow ups to ensure that the objectives of the End-to-End EMEA Division are implemented, and to respond to specific internal or external requests. The objectives are to satisfy customers, produce efficiently and develop talent. In parallel, you will follow 2 in-depth programs: "Proud to be ADM" and Human Resources process monitoring.  

 
 


- Factory and/or warehouse operational experience is mandatory.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English and French).

- Expert level in Microsoft Office suite, in particular Excel (Formulas, VBA) and Powerpoint
- Mastery of advanced IT tools (BI tools: Power BI, Qlick Sense is a plus), demonstrated ability to Data Mining & Crunching from various systems (ERP, MES, TMS, Sharepoints, etc)
- Proven ability to synthesize a large number of projects simultaneously.
- Understanding Supply Chain and Operations performance indicators.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data.
- Knowledge of basic management control principles
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Rigorous, proactive, reliable, adaptable
