About the Opportunity

The College of Social Sciences and Humanities and its nine tenure units are the home of the Experiential Liberal Arts. Through its research, teaching, and engagement missions, the college collaborates across the university, the Northeastern network, and partners around the globe.     

Responsibilities: 

Teach undergraduates related to one or more of the following areas: Arab-Israeli Conflict, Climate and Development, Conflict and Negotiation, Globalization, International Affairs Capstone, Middle East Studies, Race and Global Human Mobility, Research Methods, Revolution, Civil War  and Insurrection, Security, Culture and Power in the International Affairs Program. Responsibilities beyond teaching-related duties include participating in departmental meetings and holding regular office hours.  

Positions are available throughout the year contingent upon enrollment and departmental need. 

Qualifications: 

Master’s degree is . A Ph.D. degree is preferred with college-level teaching experience.
