The Procurement Specialist will assist our engineering and technical staff research, acquire, and transition the tools and technologies that will enable them to complete their mission.  We are looking for a self-starting individual that can work with a diverse technical group to support their operational needs, meet Government and Contractual requirements, and protect the integrity of the firm.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on factors such as cost, quality, delivery, and sustainability.

  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with suppliers to foster collaboration, improve performance, and ensure continuous supply.

  • Negotiate favorable terms and conditions for contracts, including pricing, payment terms, quality standards, and dispute resolution mechanisms.

  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, such as supplier disruptions, quality issues, and price fluctuations.

  • Continuously evaluate and improve purchasing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.

  • Utilize data analytics to track key performance indicators, identify trends, and inform purchasing decisions.

  • Support inventory management activities by monitoring stock levels and placing replenishment orders as needed.

  • Source and procure materials, components, and equipment in accordance with company requirements and purchasing policies.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • TS/SCI

  • Strong understanding of purchasing principles, practices, and strategies.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

  • Detail-oriented and organized with a strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and enterprise purchasing systems

  • Knowledge of supply chain management concepts and practices.
