Are you prepared to advance your career as a Procurement Specialist? 

In the capacity of Procurement Specialist at Deutsche Windtechnik, your contribution is crucial to fostering the company's expansion. Your responsibilities encompass steering the procurement process for our wind energy projects. The successful candidate will assume the responsibility of sourcing, negotiating, and contracting with suppliers, ensuring the punctual and cost-effective procurement of materials, equipment, and services essential for the development, planning, and execution of wind farms.  

Are You Looking to: 

  • Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and sustainability criteria? 
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering collaboration and driving continuous improvement? 
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and stay informed about market trends and innovations? 
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve agreements that align with project budgets and timelines? 
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to understand project requirements and develop procurement plans? 

Are You Ready to: 

  • Ensure procurement activities are aligned with project schedules and milestones. 
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks related to procurement, such as supply chain disruptions, cost fluctuations, and quality issues. 
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and company policies. 
  • Maintain accurate and organized procurement documentation, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier records. 
  • Monitor and control procurement costs, seeking opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality or project timelines. 

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, related field, or equivalent years of experience (5 years) in Supply Chain specific to wind energy industry. 
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Knowledge of wind energy technologies and supply chain dynamics.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to travel weekly or as needed.
