Overview














Responsibilities






  • Assists in issuing Purchase Orders (POs) for acquiring materials.
  • Coordinates with vendors for the procurement of materials, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Involved in creating and managing POs, including the necessary approvals.
  • Generates work orders related to procurement processes.
  • Establishes and maintains agreements or contracts with vendors.
  • Tracks and monitors material orders and deliveries using client-specific software.
  • Could be responsible for negotiating terms and prices with suppliers.
  • Bulk orders material for discounted rates with vendors.
  • Support contract negotiations.
  • Strategically request information from and communicate with suppliers, as it relates to contractual scopes of work, deliveries of materials, etc.
  • Deliver sourcing and or purchasing recommendations.
  • Communicate with Company to ensure only pre-qualified suppliers are considered in the bidding pool for bids and to ensure adhering to Company procurement practices.
  • Convene and support cross functional teams with engineering, construction, and all other pertinent stakeholders (including Company stakeholders) to prepare bid materials, contracts, contract management strategies.
  • Engage with appropriate Legal resources as necessary.








Qualifications






  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related fields.
  • of Supply Chain's (ISM) Certified Professional in Supply Chain (CPSM), or similar certifications.
  • Three (3) to Five (5) years of experience in Procurement, alternative energy procurement preferred.
  • Knowledge of project management principles and practices.
  • Ability to support multiple project managers/project teams.
  • Must be able to prepare written communications on technical and non-technical matters for various levels of management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Wage Data Per State Requirements






Salary for this position is $85,000.00 - $120,000.00.  The starting salary will be commensurate with skill, education, experience, and working environment.
