This role is categorized as HYBRID. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to GM Global Technical Center-- Cadillac Tower OR the Georgia IT Innovation Center -- three times per week, at minimum. This job may be eligible for relocation benefits.

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager – Global Sales Reporting to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for owning the creation of the product roadmap and vision, driving the development/enhancements for the Global Sales Reporting system landscape, utilizing Agile principles and methods. The Product Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and development teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality products that meet customer needs and business objectives.

Job Description

  • Product Vision: Develop plans and create requirements/features to execute a product vision aligned with the organization’s goals and objectives.
  • Backlog Management: Develop and maintain a prioritized product backlog, ensuring alignment with business priorities and customer needs.
  • Features: Create detailed features with acceptance criteria, providing clear guidance to development teams.
  • Iteration/Sprint Planning: Collaborate with the development team in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and refinement activities.
  • Release Planning: Work with stakeholders to plan and coordinate releases, ensuring timely delivery of features and improvements. Develop/execute UAT test plans and test cases to ensure a quality deliverable meets the established acceptance criteria.  
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster collaboration between development, design and other teams to ensure a holistic approach to product development.
  • Feedback Integration: Gather and incorporate feedback from stakeholders and end-users to continuously iterate and improve the product.
  • Metrics and KPIs: Define and monitor key metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess product success and inform future iterations.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with product development, addressing challenges proactively.
  • Data Analytics: Proficient in data science and analytics techniques and methods.

Critical Skills and Knowledge Requirements - Required

  • Over 5 years of experience in a Product Manager or similar/supporting
  • Demonstrated experience with the Agile methodology
  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex ideas and requirements effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to align product development with broader business goals and strategies.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and adapting to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership skills to guide cross-functional teams and drive product development.
  • Deep understanding of customer needs and a commitment to delivering products that exceed customer expectations.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and insights to make informed product decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
  • Team player with the ability to foster a collaborative and positive working environment.
  • A commitment to staying updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and Agile best practices.
  • Ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects.

Additional Job Description

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferred
  • PowerBI/Python experience is a HUGE plus
  • Previous sales reporting & analysis experience
  • Experience with project management methods
  • IT experience in any capacity
