Purpose

This position will be responsible for all import activities, including customer service, coordinating the shipment processes, preparing documentation, issuing invoices, and working closely with the Customs Broker and the team.









Responsibilities






  • Prepare Air Import shipments for assigned customers.  This may include customs clearance, shipping, labeling, and distribution of cargo. Generate delivery orders and shipping labels as needed.
  • Prepare Air import documents for distribution to brokerage department and/or Customers’ Broker
  • Coordinate pickup and delivery orders with trucking companies, airlines, steamship line and/or bonded facilities in order to obtain necessary information in order to process shipments in the best way.
  • Billing functions and collections
  • Customer Service / Service Quality
  • ISO Internal Auditor
  • Filing and data entry
  • Develop and maintain collaboration in a cooperative and respectful manner with all levels of staff
  • Special Duties may be assigned based on the needs of management. Your future assignments will depend on the needs of the department, your performance and capabilities

  • Ability to problem-solve
  • Flexibility with hours and available to work any OT
  • Diligent in following SOP’s
  • Word, Excel skills

Organization Relationships:

  • This position will report to a Supervisor/Manager.
  • This position does not directly supervise any staff.
