Role Overview


As the Senior Director of Global Marketing, you will play a key role in the success of our organization, overseeing 360 campaign development with a special emphasis on B2B campaigns and tentpoles. You will develop campaign strategy, coordinate the contributions of colleagues across functions and markets, and direct adjustments to ensure the campaign is reaching its objectives. 


You will work collaboratively with colleagues across the marketing and content teams, and with teams across the organization, including Talent Relations, Partnerships and Distribution, Global Policy & Advocacy, and Broadcast & Events. 


As a Senior Director of Global Marketing, you will be a valued team member of Team Growth, dedicated to growing and continuing to engage the Global Citizen community, especially among B2B audiences. You will report to the Vice President of Global Marketing. 




Key Responsibilities


B2B Marketing Strategy 70%



  • Serves as the B2B lead of the global marketing team working cross-functionally with all the departments in the organization 

  • Develops and implements comprehensive B2B marketing strategies to increase Global Citizen’s brand awareness and ongoing engagement within B2B audiences and stakeholders.

  • Stays up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in B2B marketing and incorporates new ideas into strategies




360 Campaign Strategy and Execution 20%



  • Leads the development of cross-functional marketing campaigns and marketing plans to ensure that all marketing channels are driving toward organizational objectives, including tentpole-specific and year-round global efforts

  • Oversees the development of all promotional materials and marketing campaigns, ensuring they are aligned with business and campaign objectives

  • Measures and reports on the performance of marketing campaigns, gaining insights and assessing against goals

  • Adjusts marketing strategies based on data analysis and feedback to optimize resources and outcomes




B2B Stakeholder Management Support 10%          



  • Helps develop an always-on B2B marketing engagement strategy to nurture key stakeholders

  • Serves as the liaison between the Office of the CEO and the marketing team to support stakeholder engagement.




Requirements for Success



  • 7-10 years of marketing experience, with strong knowledge in B2B marketing. 

  • A strong knowledge of B2B tactics to drive successful outcomes.

  • Experience working on global marketing and multi-lingual campaigns. Brings a global perspective to the table.

  • Creative and innovative thinking

  • Based in the NYC area, with the ability to work in an office set-up at least 3 times a week.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong ability to build strategy, manage teams, and leverage data to inform campaign planning.

  • Strong creative and analytical skills. 

  • Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, resourceful, and adept at prioritizing and juggling multiple projects to meet deadlines

  • Strong project management with the ability to work productively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

  • Professional demeanor with a can-do attitude, willingness to roll up sleeves, strong teamwork skills, comfortable in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, and dynamic team culture

  • Must be authorized for employment in the United States.

  • Global Citizen operates on a hybrid work model - 3 days (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) in our NYC office and 2 days (Monday & Friday) telecommuting.

  • Salary Range: $130,000 - $163,000
