Job Description

The Senior Director, Global Group Sales  is responsible for leading the Americas Global Group Sales  team that books group business in accordance with the company’s  strategic plan to maximize room revenue for Auberge Resorts Collection.  This role is remotely based in NY, NY.  

70% - Oversee the Americas Global Group Sales team responsible for booking group business into the Auberge portfolio of properties for the social and MICE segments.  Lead the direction and provide oversight to those positions that support GSO group sales and sales systems.  Help with strategy to both the GSO and property teams on Delphi use and third party tools including CVent.  

30% - Direct responsibility for setting and achieving a growth strategy for our top incentive houses and third parties.

Qualifications

  • Create conducive home office work environment
  • Strong relationships with the luxury corporate and incentive customer
  • 15 years experience within the luxury hotel landscape
  • 4 year college degree from an accredited institution or hotel school equivalent
  • Ability to travel to lead B2B marketing and sales efforts at trade shows, roadshows and internal company meetings.
  • Accomplished record of driving sales revenues in luxury hotel environments.
  • Strong knowledge of G-Suite, Salesforce, LinkedIn
  • Experience working with professional organizations that support the MICE industry
  • Luxury and lifestyle hotel/resort experience
  • On property experience and prior experience in a global sales role 
  • Ability to travel up to 30%
