VISION
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Director of Global Sales to lead and oversee our North American sales operations and drive the development of international sales strategies. This role will also focus on expanding government programs and securing contracts in the public sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing high-performing sales teams, implementing strategic sales initiatives, and fostering business growth across diverse markets. Experience working with international sales, government contracts, and compliance regulations is essential.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS
Sales Leadership and Strategy
- Lead North American Sales Operations:
Oversee and manage the entire North American sales organization, ensuring the achievement of revenue targets and growth objectives.
- Develop and Execute Global Sales Strategy:
Formulate and implement global sales strategies to expand into international markets, identifying opportunities for growth in Europe, Asia, and emerging markets.
- Government Programs and Contracts:
Develop and manage strategic partnerships and government programs, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local procurement processes. Work closely with government agencies to secure contracts and expand business in the public sector.
Team Development and Training
- Develop Sales Leadership:
Train, mentor, and develop sales leaders across regions to foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and performance. Implement sales leadership development programs.
- Sales Training Programs:
Design and implement training programs to enhance the skills and competencies of the global sales force, focusing on consultative selling, strategic account management, and customer relationship building.
Business Development and Key Account Management
- International Market Expansion:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in international markets. Collaborate with local sales teams to customize strategies that align with cultural and regional differences.
- Key Account Management:
Establish and maintain relationships with top clients, partners, and stakeholders across North America and global markets. Develop strategic partnerships and drive long-term customer success.
Sales Operations and Reporting
- Data-Driven Sales Management:
Leverage sales data and analytics to monitor performance, track KPIs, and provide actionable insights to optimize sales processes, forecasting, and planning.
- Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to ensure alignment on key initiatives, product launches, and sales objectives.
Compliance and Risk Management
- Government Regulations and Compliance:
Ensure adherence to government procurement regulations, contract compliance, and industry standards when engaging in public sector deals.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, with a minimum of 5 years in senior sales management role, overseeing North American and international sales teams.
- Proven track record in government contracting, public sector sales, and international business development.
- Strong experience in building and developing sales leaders and teams through strategic training programs.

Demonstrated ability to expand sales efforts across multiple regions, with a clear understanding of international markets, cross-cultural sales strategies, and regulatory landscapes.
- Government Relations and Contracts:
In-depth experience working with government agencies and programs, with a track record of securing large-scale government contracts.
- Sales Training & Development:
Proven expertise in designing and delivering sales training programs that develop strong leaders and sales teams focused on strategic selling.

WORK SCHEDULE/HOURS
Schedules will vary depending on business needs, but standard office hours are 8:00am - 5:00pm. Must be flexible to work outside of departmental operating hours.
