Nurtec/Vydura is the first and only oral CGRP receptor antagonist for the acute and preventive treatment of migraine and is approved in 50 markets around the world including the U.S. UK, China, EU, Latin America, Gulf, and other major markets with new regulatory approvals being achieved weekly and with a goal to launch in ~80 markets in the coming months/years.

What You Will Achieve

This product has the opportunity to change the paradigm in migraine treatment as a new standard of care. Currently there are more than 1 billion people who suffer from migraine worldwide, making this one of the largest population health challenges of our times. To date, Nurtec ODT/ Vydura has achieved market leadership in the US and is expected to be the leading oral CRGP worldwide, with a peak revenue of $5+B.

We are seeking a Senior Manager to join the team for an 8 month secondment, with responsibilities to lead our primary care expansion strategy and implementation, the next growth frontier for migraine diagnosis and treatment. This role reports to theGlobal Lead, Nurtec/Vydura.

How You Will Achieve It

  • Define and execute a global primary care strategy to accelerate trial among PCPs.

  • Partner closely with HCP Lead to pull through brand strategy, HCP messaging, and customize to meet the need of primary care.

  • Manage established PCP steering committee of regional KOLs to refine development of core education and promotional pieces.

  • Develop an engagement strategy, targeting & omnichannel plan to reach a broad audience.

  • Own development of core medical education (peer to peer), core promotional materials that enables seamless pull through by commercial offices and priority markets.

  • As needed (and secondary to primary care responsibilities), contribute to planning peer to peer webinars, congress support, and competitive messaging planning .

  • Collaborate with the global cross-functional team, particularly with medical, public affairs and communications.

  • Manage projects through RC to ensure impact and compliance.

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • BA/BS required with minimum 7+ years of experience of in-market, regional, or global pharmaceutical marketing.

  • Strong marketing, analytical and strategic skills including ability to identify and prioritize strategic challenges and balance short term needs with long-term vision; can manage through ambiguity.

  • Consumer or HCP marketing experience and digital expertise.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Experience collaborating with cross functional and countries.

  • Achieves results through others across functions, geographies, and a variety of personality styles.

  • Ability to plan, organize, focus, and execute in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high degree of urgency.

  • Must be mature, self-drive and have exceptional learning agility.

  • A commitment to excellence – both in the results achieved and in how they are achieved.

Nice-to-Have

  • MBA or advanced degree in a related field preferred.

  • Migraine experience strongly preferred.
