OVERVIEW:

Pfizer Oncology is focused on extending its leadership in genitourinary cancers, and we are committed to developing and delivering a broad portfolio of medicines in prostate cancer that define standards of care for patients across the treatment continuum. As we build a leading global presence in prostate, we aspire to lead biomarker driven prostate cancer with the development and launch of TALZENNA (Talazoparib) in the highly competitive poly (ADP-ribose) polymerase (PARP) inhibitor landscape.

As a priority brand for the Oncology portfolio, TALZENNA in prostate cancer has the potential to deliver close to $2B in global peak revenues. We are laser focused on driving robust launch uptake of the first indication in 1L metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCPRC) (TALAPRO-2); approved in the U.S. in June 2023 in HRRm mCRPC, the EU in January 2024 in all-comers mCRPC, and Japan in January 2024 in BRCAm mCRPC. The Talazoparib prostate development program includes a Phase 3 study in the earlier setting of advanced prostate cancer, in combination with XTANDI for adult patients in HRRm metastatic castration-sensitive prostate cancer(mCSPC) (TALAPRO-3). Estimated US/EU approval in 2H 2026.

ROLE SUMMARY:

The Senior Manager, Global Marketing, TALZENNA role offers valuable experience in global marketing and will help drive strategic marketing support for key activities and projects for TALZENNA. The ideal candidate has strong strategic and analytical thinking, is a self-starter, can manage multiple priorities, can collaborate across the enterprise, and has strong interpersonal and communication skills. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a global priority brand and indication launch for Oncology.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead prioritized activities including cross-functional work teams, gaining team and country stakeholder endorsements, and developing and delivering on prioritized launch readiness initiatives

  • Lead development of strategy and planning for commercial booth and sponsorship / advertisement, responsible for brand presence and implementation / execution of the strategy at assigned key congresses, manage development of booth tactics according to local guidelines and in line with the brand strategy, collaborate with Global Congress Management Team, Medical Excellence Review team and Country Compliance teams, work with International Markets for country communications.

  • Lead coordination and planning of congress-associated internal meetings

  • Support the development of global HCP branded content

  • Partner with CSI Competitive Intelligence to maintain updated perspective on competitive landscape; effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders on the Competitive Intelligence plan, lead in vendor management; coordinate sharing of insights and implications across cross-functional and country teams.

  • Conduct all responsibilities in accordance with Company policies, with a strong adherence to our Values including compliance

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • 7+ years of marketing experience in the pharmaceutical industry

  • Able to collaborate across different functions and interact with others in a way that gains commitment to action, ensures clarity, and creates common goals

  • Strong written, oral communication skills coupled with strong analytical skills; able to distill complex data into compelling communications

  • Mature, self-starter, detail-oriented, action-driven, comfortable with ambiguity; able to multi-task in dynamic environment

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $117,300.00 to $195,500.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
