The Senior Manager, Global Trade Compliance (GTC) is responsible for the supervision and management of Telesat’s Trade Compliance & Security team to ensure Telesat’s global operations, including activities in Canada and the U.S. as well as regional offices in the UK, EU, Brazil and Singapore, comply with Canada’s Controlled Goods Regulations (CGR) and Export and Import Permits Act (EIPA), the U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR), and other applicable export control, trade sanctions, and personnel security rules and regulations.
The successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain clearance under the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and hold or be eligible to hold a personnel Security Clearance to the level of NATO Secret/Top Secret.
