· Sources, Negotiates, Procures, Schedules and Expedites Machined Parts, Components and Assemblies, utilizing competitive bidding competencies, targeting the best quality, delivery, and total cost of ownership.
· Resolves Parts, Components and Assembly issues pertaining to supplier delivered product.
· Responsible for Quality of Services for assigned Parts, Components and Assemblies (fit, form, function) procured for Canrig’s capital equipment and aftermarket sales
· Review prints/demand for parts that include castings, forgings, heat treating, machining and fabrication processes
· Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the technical specifications of products and services procured. Work closely with engineering teams to interpret technical drawings, requirements, and standards.
· Monitors for Change Management Requirement – Updates Purchase Order to add/adjust freight charges, PO amendments and any other changes affecting the accuracy and maintenance of the order to ensure alignment on expected delivery date
· Procures material per Material Requirements Planning schedule.
· Maintains accurate date management with an emphasis on timely expediting of parts
· Updates Part maintenance / MRP sheets with Preferred Vendors, Lead Time, Quantity Breaks and Price.
· Identifies, and Qualifies New Vendors capable of converting raw material into finished product.
· Audits Vendor processes, capability, capacity and schedules. Verifies that Vendors (new and existing) can provide material / product that is fit for its intended use, within required time frames that conforms to applicable licensing requirements. I. e. API / ISO.
· Schedules deliveries to meet production requirements, resolving any issues that may arise due to late delivery
· Improves or adapts existing processes by presenting solutions that have a meaningful impact on the enterprise
· Develop and maintain relationships with vendors.
· Develops Sourcing for raw material, components, parts and assemblies for Product Lines owned by Canrig.
· Works with a cross-function team consisting of Planning, Production, QC, Warehouse, and Finance, and Engineering
· Contributes to the overall success of the Canrig Procurement Team by performing all other duties and responsibilities as assigned
· Ability to analyze procurement processes to determine success against Team KPIs, and be capable of creating and maintaining data, graphical representations and other KPI reflective data for the purposes of determining Team success and needs of the business.
· Experience in Global Procurement with the ability to maintain strong relationships with suppliers across a global region.
