Responsibilities






Essential Duties:

  • Coordinating Customs Brokerage Post Entry Work for Customs Brokerage Nationwide Including:
    - Post Summary Corrections (PSC’s)
    - Protests and Voluntary Disclosures
    • Audit
     -Targeting Adjustments and File Assignment
     -Transaction File Review
    • Reconciliation – Preparation and Filing
    • Contribute to the Customs Clearance Center’s Team Effort by Coaching Counseling and Developing Junior Staff
    • Client Engagement / Coordination
    • Obtain Customs clearances for various Importers, maintaining their profiles - filing entries
    • Monitoring changes at Customs and other government agencies
    • Enforce systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
    • Communicate with Customs and/or other Government Agencies on Post Entry, Entry Summary Rejects, requests for information and related issues
    • General Business Support Functions as assigned
    • Travel as needed (<5%)








Qualifications






 

Minimum Requirements, Education, and Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalency certificate or significant or relevant/appropriate working experience
  • Approximately 5 years brokerage industry experience.
  • Must have a brokerage license. 
  • Knowledge of international commerce (Incoterms, method, customs regulations etc.) desirable
  • Good verbal and written communication Skill
  • Must be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule including weekends and holidays as necessary
  • Some computer skills including data entry and maintenance and working
