Job Description

Essential Functions:

  • Supervises the company's global trade program, ensuring compliance with International customs rules and regulations as well as internal policy requirements

  • Reviews the EU entities' day-to-day import/export activities to ensure international shipments remain in compliance

  • Collaborates with internal and external partners to measure, define, and drive process improvements within international trade compliance, conducting audits and transaction testing of import/export filings

  • Collaborates with third-party service providers to identify potential risks and issues, and manage processes in support of International operations

  • Supports EU subsidiary offices in all customs-related matters, helping resolve clearance inquiries from customs brokers and internal business partners to ensure supply chain continuity and import/export compliance

  • Extensive knowledge of HS codes, specifically medical device HS codes

Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree;

  • Preferred experience in life science or medical device industry
