About the Role


As the Subcontractor Procurement Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our installation and maintenance operations across the U.S. and Canada are executed with precision, quality, and efficiency. This role is critical in sourcing, evaluating, and managing a network of subcontractor technicians who provide essential services for our customer equipment installations, service, and maintenance. You will manage all aspects of subcontractor procurement�from identifying qualified technicians and negotiating rates to ensuring compliance and maintaining thorough records.

Key Responsibilities



  • Source & Secure Talent: Identify, screen, and qualify subcontractor technicians to support installations, service, and maintenance across the U.S. and Canada.

  • Rate Negotiation: Skillfully negotiate rates and terms with subcontractors.

  • Documentation & Compliance: Manage subcontractor paperwork, insurance certificates, and maintain detailed records.

  • Database Management: Develop and maintain a comprehensive database with feedback, certifications, and standards for sub-contractors.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Service, and Installation teams to streamline the procurement process and ensure quality customer service.

  • Vendor Management: Establish and maintain vendor relationships, analyze pricing, and ensure alignment with financial goals.

  • All other duties as assigned.


Qualifications



  • High school diploma and 3+ years of procurement/subcontract management experience.

  • Knowledge of installation methods and requirements for Fire/Security/CCTV/Access Controls systems is preferred.

  • Experience with sourcing labor and materials related to service-related work.

  • Experience with Google My Map/CRM/ERP systems preferred. Experience with Microsoft Suite is required.

  • Strong organizational skills and outstanding communication skills are a must to work in a deadline-driven environment.

  • Experience working with National Accounts is a plus.

  • Ability to work within a team environment.
